BRNSRGHT (pronounced “Burnsright”) is a Lithuanian-born, London-based artist, producer, songwriter, composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist whose work exists at the intersection of alternative hip hop, experimental rock, electronic music, contemporary songwriting, and sonic world-building. Classically trained from an early age and later developing a fiercely independent approach to music creation, BRNSRGHT has cultivated a body of work that refuses easy categorisation, blending raw emotional honesty with technical precision and a deep fascination with consciousness, mythology, philosophy, and human transformation.
Born in Kaunas, Lithuania, he studied piano, guitar, harmony, choir, vocals, orchestra performance and music theory before relocating to London, where he would evolve into a multidisciplinary creator working across music, theatre, fashion, film, performance, and visual culture. His artistic practice combines the discipline of classical training with the spontaneity of free-form expression, resulting in a sound that moves fluidly between atmospheric rap, euphoric rock, cinematic composition, electronic experimentation, and introspective songwriting. BRNSRGHT first gained wider recognition through his work as music producer and contributor for TRAPLORD, the groundbreaking production created by acclaimed choreographer and director Ivan Michael Blackstock. The production went on to receive the Olivier Award for Best New Dance Production, placing BRNSRGHT among the creative team behind one of the UK’s most celebrated contemporary stage works. His contribution helped shape the sonic identity of a production that blended movement, storytelling, culture and music into a powerful theatrical experience. (sadlers-wells-assets.s3.amazonaws.com)
Alongside his theatre work, BRNSRGHT has developed an extensive catalogue as an independent recording artist. Over the years he has released more than four hours of original music spanning albums, EPs, singles, collaborative projects and experimental releases. His discography includes full-length projects such as U + I (2023), KARMA 2 BURN (2025), and Breath, Sex And Death (2026), alongside a growing collection of standalone works including Red Eyes, ASSEMBLAGE POINT, LITHUALIEN, SOUL TIES, HALO, FIRMAMENT, GUERRERO, SOBER, LIVING DEATH, WHITE LIGHT, Brave New World, Fangs Out, Kudos, CUNEIFORM, AKASHIC, SYNERGY, Daffodils, Never Love Again, MOVE!, IMPLODE and many others. His music explores themes of identity, transcendence, personal responsibility, inner alchemy, spirituality, social observation, dream states and human potential. Across his catalogue, BRNSRGHT combines intricate production, genre-bending arrangements and a distinctive vocal delivery capable of moving between melodic vulnerability, spoken-word intimacy and explosive rap performance. Critics and listeners alike have noted the way his music embraces contradiction—ancient and futuristic, spiritual and streetwise, technical and instinctive—creating a sonic language uniquely his own
As a producer and collaborator, BRNSRGHT has worked across multiple creative disciplines. His collaborations include work with fashion designer Jean Louie Castillo, for whom he created original music and bespoke sonic environments for London Fashion Week presentations and multidisciplinary fashion experiences. He has also collaborated with a diverse range of artist including SINN6R, Deijuvhs, FiFi Rong, Jon Cass, UNDERWATERKASH, and numerous emerging creators across London’s alternative scene.
Outside music, BRNSRGHT is also a published poet and writer. His limited-edition poetry collection, Methods of Perfection, written under the name Luke Burnsright, explores existential, spiritual and philosophical themes that closely mirror the questions present throughout his musical work. The collection represents another dimension of a creative practice rooted in observation, transformation and the search for meaning. Book is available only directly from BRNSRGHT (brnsrght.com)
His mission remains constant: to create work that challenges perception, inspires self-discovery and reminds listeners that transformation begins with imagination.
